A Memorial Memorial Day Weekend...

It was going to be a low key, laid back long weekend.  We had plans to BBQ and hang with the Pawlikowski's.  As we headed to their place for brunch on Saturday morning, little did we know that a special plan had been put in place and that we were all in for a treat.  A Meeker family surprise!!!  Here are a few pics from the weekend.

Weekend Getaway!

We took a fun filled family trip out of the city to celebrate Chennin's Birthday and Mother's Day.  We had a great time at Hickory Hideaway in northwest Illinois.  A very relaxing weekend of BBQ-ing, hiking, roasting marshmallows and basically unplugging in the country.  Here are some pics.
